Back in 1994, some fellow realtors contacted Guinn Laxson, a local home builder, asking him to inspect some homes for their clients so they wouldn’t have to hire out-of-town inspectors. That year The Home Doctor, Inc. performed 12 home inspections. By the year 2000, they had shut down their remodeling business, and were performing home inspections on a full-time basis. Since then, they have completed close to 20,000 inspections. After 26 years with many ups and downs such as 911, the mortgage fiasco, and the covid pandemic to name a few, The Home Doctor, Inc. under the leadership of Guinn & Tammy Laxson still strives to provide the same quality service for their clients as they did in 1994. Guinn is currently retired, and Tammy oversees the business while their company employees one full-time inspector trained by Guinn who provides quality service to our customers.
